Two weeks ago I got this amazing opportunity to attend to The Tidal Launch Party, I was so excited that I didn't have words to express this feeling, my first event as a fashion blogger. How cool is that? Well, for me was such a great experience, I got to meet a lot of different and interesting people and wonderful and down to earth girls that share the same passion as me.

The Girls
From Left to right: Chris from The Tiny TieRant, Pamela from Cinderella's Closet, Sun From Misspouty, Tessa from Couturelust and me.

The dress
For this event, since it was my first as a fashion blogger I decided to go in this beautiful casual dress, perfect for autumn, paired with a black blazer and flats. I was suppose to change my flats for my black peep toes high heels, but unfortunately due the weather ( it was raining) and the fact that i'm still learning how to walk in heels, sadly I didn't worn them. Also on my way to the event I was so nervous and in such a rush to get there on time after work that I didn't realize that I was wearing my belt upside down * laughs.

After enjoying and having a great time at the event, Tessa and Chris invited me to have dinner with them at the Shiha Korean Barbeque House. I had a great time with them, i'm really glad that I meet such really nice and sweet girls, we talked a lot and got to know a little bit more about each others. They also gave me great advice and tips about blogging and other things which I really appreciated, before we leave the restaurant we left a little something to let people know that we were there, hehehe!

Panel, panels and more panels!

Pink Power Ranger

IMG_0873
For today's adventure my husband, his friends and I decided that we should all get dress as the old school Power Rangers. I was supposed to be Triny the yellow ranger, but since where I bought the shirt didn't have a yellow ranger in my size I end up being Kimberly the pink ranger. Today's is panel day I decide to go the more comfortable that I can, just basics flats, jeans and a T-shirt. Thanks god that I decide to go in flats because we walked a lot, I don't even know how I made it to all this panels in two days because for most of them I had to stand in line an hour before it's starts that's how bad it was. So, I'm not going to bored you to dead talking about each panel, just enjoy the pictures =D.

NYC Comic Con 2011

nyccc 11
Last month as a birthday gift from my husband I attend my first ever NYC Comic Con and let me tell you that it was the most amazing and tiring experience that I ever had, for three straight days like a job we had to wake up really early in the morning to get there on time, the first day was OK since there was exactly nothing to do just shop, look around, get free stuff and shop a little bit more *laugh. The only good thing about the first day was the costumes, there was a lot of people with like the most crazy costumes ever, some of them handmade and some of them bought from a cosplay store, but still there were out of this world.

While walking around and looking for stuff that might interest me, I found one of my favorite plush toy booth called " The Uglydolls", I been fan of this little friends for around three of years already and due the lack of space I limited my self having only just two of them, a key chain called Bob and Beep that you can see here and the same one in regular size. After going back and forward to the booth a thousand times, drooling over those little cute toys I finally decide that it was time for me to get a new member to my collection, meet Turny Burny, I bet you that he's gonna make such a wonderful friend to Bob and Beep. Well, after walking around the whole day, at night there was the NYC Comic Con  kick- off concert with DJ Z- Trip , the truth is that I never hear of this DJ before, but sure his music was awesome!

Hello! My name is Mr. Geeky

As a IFB member this is the fist time that i'm going to participate on the IFB Project series, this week is project# 19: How do you personalize your cell phone? Well, my cell phone is the most precious thing that I have, I got it about 4 months ago and since then I been completely attach to him ( yes, it's a boy!). I think that one of the main rules of having a cell phone is owning a case, it is very important to own one specially if you have really expensive phone like the Iphone or a Droid and a screen protector is a must have too since this type of touchscreen phones tend to scratch easily.

IMG_0780
I own an Iphone 4 and since i'm such a geek my case is this silicone black Game Boy Color, this is the most cutest case that I ever lay eyes on. I bought it a couple of weeks ago when I attended to the NYC Comic Con. I also bought a screen protector so I could protected it from scratching his screen. And In terms of applications, I have in my phone everything that is important and useful to me such as Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare so I can talk with friends and keep myself inform of everything that is going on. I'm not a big fan of games so currently i'm only playing two: Bakery Story and My Town Life 2.

IMG_0812
I been only blogging for a couple of months and through all this time being a IFB member I've learned that beside the computer, a cell phone has become a must have for every blogger out there. So, it's good  once in a while to treat you cell phone with a nice case and a screen protector for all the hard work that does for you. I thanks IFB for doing all this awesome projects, Can't wait for the next one!

I hope everybody have a great week ahead!

Hallows Eve

Halloween 09

Halloween 09
This pictures where taken at The Central Park Pumpkin Festival in 2009, unfortunately I wasn't able to attend to the 2010 I don't remember why, but this year believe it or not it was actually snowing here in New York City plus Mani was sick with the flu so sadly we weren't able to attend again. On Saturday we went to the mall with our friends to grab lunch at Applebee's and then to Best Buy to buy the new season of Robot Chicken and my Sims 3 Pet's copy.

Boo earrings :)

Halloween colors :)

Halloween spirit mood!
Yesterday I decide to get my Halloween inspired nails to go with my boo earrings that I wore at work today, sadly I didn't get to buy a custom for me or my dog or go trick or treating today. I hope next year I plan things how they are suppose to be and not leave everything at last minute, while I'm writing this I got the feeling that I'm getting a sore throat so I'm not surprise that I'm getting sick too. I hope everybody had a great Happy Halloween!

I never been a huge fan of Kristen Stewart, but I kind of always liked her edgy tomboy style besides her amazing work at the Twilight series and The Runaways that made her a very well known artist. So, when I saw her British cover for GQ magazine at the beginning of the month and the following week her U.S Glamour cover I was completely amaze about her beauty. I had the opportunity to read her magazine interview by the writer of  The Twilight Series books Stefanie Meyer and Kristen seems to be a very down to earth person and very mature for her age, she's also a very inspiring and passionate about her work which I really like. Here I leave you with pictures of her Glamour photoshoot and a little video interview. Enjoy!

Flushing Meadows Park Lake

Yesterday it was a beautiful day, we had a perfect 85 °F degrees outside to be exactly which I was kind of surprise. I was soo happy that I woke up Mani early so we take our Spunky to the park before it gets colder since he's extremely sensitive to really high and really low temperatures  (yes, he's a really complicated dog) and of course to hang out in my favorite park. So, we couldn't let this opportunity pass.

Before I started deciding what I was going to wear I already had this outfit on mind, I bought this dress a while ago and I was waiting for the perfect moment to wear it. I paired with my favorite moccasin, a headband and a necklace to make it simple for this warm weather, Spunky was soo excited to go to the park, we haven't been here in a while ( at least for 2 years) I know... I know this is my favorite park but, the reason was that we were living in a different place before so it was too far for us to come here on the weekends or whenever we wanted to.

After spending a beautiful afternoon at the park on our way home we decided to stop by our favorite Italian ice place called: " The Lemon Ice King of Corona" and grab some Italian ice, it was delicious! If you ever want to try them in my opinion this is the official place, they have over 30 different flavors which is crazy! Saying good bye to the summer makes me sad, i'm going to miss days these like this one when you wear a dress bare legs and eat some ice cream. So, I guess this is a last goodbye to Summer and hello again to Autumn, I hope everybody have a nice Columbus Day!

I can't believe that October is already here! I'm so excited that my birthday is only two days away, sadly I'm no going to have a big celebration of it now because this month i'm going to be really busy (planning my Comic Con trip and other things). Autumn is one of my favorite seasons. I'm really looking forward to wearing tights, getting warms drinks, pumpkin picking, the pumpkin festival and eating my favorite dessert pumpkin pie. Here I leave you with some things that are inspiring me this season.
